Training & Apprenticeship
Colour by Utie

Choose the Step That Matches Your Intention

  • to understand personal color analysis clearly (without guessing)
  • a calm, ethical approach (not trend-driven, not harsh “rules”)
  • guided practice and a method you can trust
  • a pathway with the option of apprenticeship for high performers

Who This Is Not For

  • you’re looking for a quick “instant certificate” without real practice
  • you want to replicate a studio system immediately to compete
  • you prefer learning without feedback, standards, or assessment
1
Step 1 — Foundations (Personal Mastery)

Step 1 — Foundations (Personal Mastery)

A structured introduction to personal color analysis designed for self-clarity. You’ll learn the essentials of how color behaves, how the seasonal map works, and how to start reading color with confidence.

Ideal for:

  • personal clarity (wardrobe + makeup)
  • anyone who wants to understand themselves more deeply through color
  • beginners who want a strong foundation before going further

Includes:

  • overview of personal color analysis + meaningful short history
  • 4-season system (logic + common misconceptions)
  • core “color language”: undertone vs overtone, value, contrast, clarity/softness
  • guided practice with swatches + observation language
  • simple drape experience using test drapes
  • reflection prompts to connect learning to real life

Outcome: Personal mastery + clarity (not a professional license)

2
Step 2 — Professional Track (Training + Practice)

Step 2 — Professional Track (Training + Practice)

A professional pathway focused on skill-building, practice, and consistency. This step goes deeper into seasonal analysis and includes hands-on draping practice and structured feedback.

Ideal for:

  • those who want to offer personal color analysis professionally
  • beauty / wellness professionals, stylists, and aspiring consultants
  • people who want training with standards, not just theory

Includes:

  • 12-season system (structure + neighboring seasons)
  • full draping practice (hands-on, draping each other)
  • client-safe explanation and consultation flow
  • hygiene + consent standards (professional practice)
  • business clarity module (solo path vs studio path)
  • assessment + structured feedback
  • Certificate of Completion issued by Colour by Utie

Outcome: Professional training completion (Colour by Utie)

Step 3 — Studio Apprenticeship (Invitation Only)

Step 3 — Studio Apprenticeship (Invitation Only)

A limited studio pathway for selected participants who are ready to practice under the Colour by Utie name and standards. This step is offered by invitation after Step 2, based on readiness and alignment.

Ideal for:

  • high performers who want to grow inside a studio system
  • those who want mentorship, SOP, and real client practice
  • those who prefer building with structure and support

Includes:

  • studio SOP + “Colour by Utie way” onboarding
  • walk-through of studio presentation materials
  • real-client tandem learning (minimum 4 sessions)
  • readiness evaluation + agreement to practice under studio standards

Outcome: Eligibility to become a studio practitioner under Colour by Utie (based on assessment + agreement)

Is this a certification?

Step 1 is a personal mastery program. Step 2 includes a Certificate of Completion issued by Colour by Utie. Studio apprenticeship (Step 3) is invitation-only and depends on assessment and agreement.

Can I join Step 1 only?

Yes. Step 1 is designed for personal clarity even if you do not plan to practice professionally.

Can I take Step 2 directly?

No. Step 1 is required first. It ensures everyone has the same foundation and language before moving into professional practice.

Do I automatically join apprenticeship after Step 2?

No. Apprenticeship is invitation-only. Step 2 is where readiness, consistency, and alignment are assessed.
